Gennie's 8th birthday party!

So, Miss Ma'am turned 8!  We postponed her friends' party until after school started back up in January so that they'd all be back from Christmas break...and to give me time to get past the holidays before I had to plan a birthday party.  Whew!  She wanted a "Rainbow Party" this year:

 We did facepainting...

And rainbow nails... (even Josiah wanted in on the action)

Then they decorated wands to pose with in our photo booth...
Josiah's facepainting choice was a green mustache...very handsome indeed.
Instead of cake, etc, each girl got a Rainbow in a Jar...they got to add the whipped cream cloud and sprinkles.
And Sprite with rainbow Twizzler straws to drink.
I got clear DIY ornaments and filled them with rainbow tissue paper then Kev hung them from the ceiling...Rainbow Drops!

She got lots of girly presents...barbies and nail stuff and make-up and a chinese jumprope set and Littlest Pet Shop stuff.
For the take-home favors we had a candy table...each girl got to fill a goodie bag with candies from our assortment, sorted by color of course.

I'm pretty sure the candy table was Josiah's favorite party.  We sent the girls home all sugared up and happy!
